VACCINATION NUMBERS AND VACCINE CLINIC OPENINGS
IU Health South Central Region reported they have administered over 55,000 vaccines between their Bloomington and Paoli locations. Over one million Hoosiers across the state have been fully vaccinated, with 1.7 million fully or partially vaccinated. Approximately 20,000 Monroe County residents have been vaccinated.

Starting March 29, Indiana University’s Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall vaccine clinic will inoculate 700 individuals a day in its first few weeks, eventually ramping up to 3,000 per day. The clinic will administer the Pfizer vaccine and operate three days a week.

The Indiana Department of Health is again partnering with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and IU Health to operate a large-scale vaccination clinic. The single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the following dates:
– April 1-3
– April 13-18
– April 24-30

Approximately 96,000 vaccinations will be administered at the clinic. Those wishing to schedule their vaccine appointment will need to register by visiting ourshot.in.gov.

The Indiana State Department of Health encourages Hoosiers to be cautious for COVID-19 vaccine scams. Payment for the vaccine will never be requested up front or at all. You should also verify the source of any text, email, call, or direct message pertaining to vaccinations before providing any personal information. If you are unsure about a message you have received, contact your physician or reach out to Indiana 211 to get assistance.
