Benefits of Reiki Therapy

“I was struggling mentally and emotionally with my cancer diagnosis. With Reiki, I was able to deal with not only my anxiety but also my emotion and mental health…I am normally a positive person so to have Reiki helped me get back to at least that ‘normal’ has been priceless”.

Beginning in September, Yoga will be offered in-person the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.  and will be facilitated by a certified Yoga Instructor who is a Cancer Survivor.  Individual counseling is facilitated by Katie Tremel, who is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Oncology Certified.  These sessions take place in-person or virtually.  In addition to the many services offered, CSCSCI also has numerous resources and handouts related to diagnosis and survivorship.  CSCSCI wants to help survivors, family, and friends as they face the challenges that come with cancer no matter where they are in their diagnosis.  To learn more about CSCSCI and the services offered, please contact the Program Manager, Katie Tremel, at 812-929-0658 or katie@cancersupportscin.org.

Proceeds from Hoosiers Outrun Cancer will help support the program moving forward.  To participate, donate, or volunteer, please go to https://hoosiersoutruncancer.org/
