Those experiencing significant financial strain due to the pandemic might be able to receive assistance from County Township Trustees.
During the weekly COVID-19 Press Conference last Friday (starting at 14:33), County Commissioner Julie Thomas said, “Monroe County has provided additional funding to support our trustees to ensure that we limit the impact of evictions and utility disconnections for our residents.”
If you need financial assistance with food, shelter, or utilities, please contact your local Township Trustee office. You can locate your Township by clicking here and entering your home address. Under the “Taxing District” section you will find the name of your township.
