One year ago, on March 29, 2022, Cancer Support Community South Central Indiana held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of its new brick-and-mortar location at 1719 W 3rd Street.
The special occasion allowed community members and participants to tour the new building, meet their staff, and learn more about the free programs of support, education, and hope available to those facing cancer in our community.
Cancer Support Community Indiana has proudly served central Indiana for over 25 years now, but with our grant support of $1.5 million, they were able to expand their cancer support services and programs to the south-central region.
Cancer Support Community SCI has not only expanded the variety, frequency, and number of cancer patients and family members served with needs beyond clinical care in Bloomington and surrounding areas, but they have also created a safe space for community members to learn, grow, and feel supported throughout their unique cancer journey.
