Halloween 2020 might look a little different than usual but there are still opportunities for you and your family to participate in some fun autumnal activities in and around Bloomington.

Due to the pandemic and the public health implications of trick or treating, the City of Bloomington announced that they will not be posting official trick or treat hours this year.

Monroe County Government shared that local fire departments will be hosting a safe trick or treat option on October 31st, from 6pm – 8pm. You can find participating stations here on the Monroe County website.

Both the City and County encourage everyone to review the CDC website to find more guidance on safe Halloween practices. Our friends at Visit Bloomington have also compiled a list of local outdoor activities that can help you get out of the house to safely celebrate the spooky season.

No matter what you do this fall, please be safe and follow the Hoosier Safe Six pledge. Happy haunting!
