When people are on spring break, this usually means that they will go somewhere warm and be out in the heat for a long period of time. This means that protecting your skin is important, especially since your skin may not be used to sun exposure due to the cloudy winter season. Make sure to apply sunscreen regularly, wear long clothing to reduce sun exposure, and wear sunglasses to protect your eyes. Being out in the sun also means that hydration is key. When people are on vacation, caffeine and alcohol consumption may be common. Both of these substances actually will dehydrate a person more and lead to unwanted circumstances. Make sure that this does not happen to you by taking water breaks and packing refillable water bottles.

Since it is spring break, make sure to take a break from work and technology too. Spring break is a time to relax, have fun, and refuel, but it doesn’t have to be in an unhealthy way. Making sure to protect yourself from the sun and keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
