United Way of Monroe County COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund Update
As the pandemic began to impact our community last year, BHF granted lead gifts to the United Way of Monroe County’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund. The fund supports local social service organizations whose operations have been severely impacted by the pandemic while simultaneously experiencing record need for their services. BHF has committed $70,000 overall to assist these front line nonprofits across Greene, Monroe, and Owen Counties.
Last month United Way announced their Phase 4 recipients including Amethyst House, Beacon, Inc., HealthNet Bloomington, Monroe County United Ministries, New Hope for Families, Wheeler Mission, and more.
You can find a full list of all Phase 4 recipients and how these funds will be used by visiting https://www.monroeunitedway.org/COVID-Phase4-Awards.
